The Croydon Citizen is a social enterprise with a goal is to make Croydon a better place by facilitating community discussion, debate and thought-leadership while holding those in power to account. Our content is written by ordinary citizens, not professional journalists; giving a voice to new writers, widening debate and building communication skills in the community.
As well as regularly publishing new articles to our site, we publish a monthly printed news magazine that you can find in numerous locations across the borough.
We’re concerned with anything that is especially relevant to Croydon, its people, and its natural communities and we're always looking for new writers. If you've got an idea for an article - get in touch!
