The Coach House, Kirkcudbright, SW Scotland

The Coach House was converted in 2014 from a derelict building to a very warm and comfortable 2 bedroom holiday house in the nicest harbour town on the Solway coast.

The house is fully insulated, has gas fired central heating and a "living flame" log burner in the oak floored sitting room, furnished with very comfortable leather seating. There is a TV/DVD along with books and games for wet or lazy days.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, electric double oven, micro wave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils and crockery. There is a dining table and chairs for 4 occupants.

Wifi is provided.

2 carpeted bedrooms upstairs - one king size and one full size twin with a modern bathroom (with shower bath) in between. There is a second wet room and toilet downstairs.

Outside, off road parking is provided for two cars and there is a a quiet patio at the back with garden furniture and a lockable bike shed.

Life in Kirkcudbright revolves around the castle, the working harbour, and its community of artists, along with a full range of activities throughout the summer ranging from the Jazz Festival to the Arts and Crafts Trail and the Tattoo. The town itself also has an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, tennis courts, golf course, and a range of galleries and shops, and is close to sandy beaches, hill walking, mountain biking, endless walks, ice cream farm, chocolate factory, wild life park - and much more.
