The Cheap Shop Tiptree

Our shop is "an Aladdins Cave", it holds stock for any type of craft imaginable. We stock everything from knitting wool and accessories to patchwork fabric, dress and bridal fabrics, some curtain fabrics, fleece, an extensive stock of haberdashery, dolls houses and dolls house interiors, art supplies, pocket money toys, puzzles, cake making equipment, card craft, greetings cards and wrap, scapbooking materials and so much more... We are a family-run business and it has stayed within our family since its establishment nearly 50 years ago. We began as a general store stocking items such as pots, pans, soap and tea towels which we sold cheaper than the super market. Each member of our family to join the business has brought a new area of expertise with them which has been incorporated into the shop to make it what it is today. We are proud to say that we are one of the biggest craft and fabric shops in Essex and a dying breed of shop that is chocca-block with stock from the front door to the back wall and from floor to ceiling.
