Tennent's Comedy Basement was established to offer a regular outlet for new and upcoming stand up comedy performers in Scotland.

Like any profession, practice makes perfect and opportunities for new comedians can be limited so we wanted to establish a regular night for open spot comedians and more established comedians wishing to develop their material and acts.

Our philosophy is to support new Scottish comedians by offering them another regular and popular outlet to practice and perfect their craft.
