Toastmasters provide an age-old tradition of 'Master of the Ceremony' and provide the backbone of an event and it is to him all the events’ staff turn to as the official organiser and timekeeper.

James will bring a charm and gravitas that will uplift your wedding, civil partnership, special birthday or anniversary, making it a day that you and your guests will truly remember.

Weddings and civil ceremonies:

It is my role to ensure the smooth running of your day, from the planning stage and discuss your personal requirements and throughout the day itself allowing you, your friends and family to enjoy your special day.

The service I provide:

Arrive at the reception venue at least one hour prior to the arrival of the bride and groom
Receive the bride and bridegroom on
Liaise with the banqueting management team to ensure all is set up and ready
Greet the bride and groom on arrival with the traditional glasses of champagne
With friends and family and guiding them to arrival drinks reception area
Liaise with and supervise photography video services etc.
Organise the receiving line and announce guests
Announce the entrance of the bride and groom
Announce all say Grace (if required)
Organise the cutting of the cake
Announce and assist with the toasts and speeches
Assisting the presentation a special gifts or flowers
Announce the first dance and handover to the DJ or band

I meet every bride and bridegroom in advance to go through the itinerary of the day in detail and help with speeches so that I can ensure your special day is just perfect.


Civil Partnerships and Gay Weddings:

Whether are you are celebrating the gay wedding or lesbian wedding, the need for a Toastmaster becomes all the more beneficial when it comes to arranging the formalities of your day. I will make sure that your ceremony run smoothly and just how you wish. In choosing me you can be certain that you will be in safe and capable hands.

Whether you want your Toastmaster to offer a formal style of announcement for a more casual relaxed style things I will work with you to achieve the right format and take on board any ideas and creative suggestions that you have.

Special Events:

A Toastmaster will add pomp and occasion to a special birthday or anniversary. As Master of Ceremonies, James will ensure the success and smooth running of your event, introducing speakers, making announcements, and engaging with the audience to keep the ceremony agenda flowing as smoothly as possible.
