Sunnybank Nursery

Sunnybank Nursery provides a warm, relaxed, inclusive and most importantly a homely environment, in which children can flourish to the best of their capabilities.

We provide fun, educational activities and experiences to aid development in all areas and to encourage confidence and independence.

We pride ourselves in our standards of care and positive relationships with children, parents and carers respecting diversity and cultural beliefs.

We have an open door policy where parents and carers can telephone or call in for a chat and a cup of coffee.

Sunnybank is a small, privately owned nursery, which caters for up to thirty-six children at any one time.

Our premises consist of a dormer bungalow and separate garden room.

The interior of the bungalow consists of a kitchen, ‘Cosy Corner’, ‘ Playroom’, toilet and nappy changing area, Sleep Room and Office.

The Cotton Tails Group is attached to the main bungalow but has its own entrance/exit. The room contains a large playroom with sleep area, milk kitchen and nappy changing room.

The Playroom is where our Rabbit’s Group are based.

The Garden Room is a large playroom with its own toilet facilities. The Hares Group is based in this room.

The premises are naturally decorated and display the children’s creations.
It has a distinctly ‘homely’ feel as we aim to bridge the gap between home and school.

We have both grassed and patio outdoor play areas which are extensively used.

The nursery is a completely ‘No-Smoking’ area.
All parents and visitors are requested to extinguish all cigarettes before entering the nursery grounds.
