Strictly Ballroom the Musical

Based on the Baz Lurhmann film, STRICTLY BALLROOM THE MUSICAL recently finished its World Premiere Australian season in 2015, an acclaimed run at West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds, Christmas 2016, and North American Premiere at Princess of Wales Theatre, Toronto.

Now this brand new stage musical makes its West End debut at London's Piccadilly Theatre from 16th March 2018.

STRICTLY BALLROOM THE MUSICAL is the inspiring story of a championship ballroom dancer who defies all the rules to follow his heart. Featuring songs from the hit 1992 film including Love is in the Air, Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps and Time After Time, as well as new songs from internationally acclaimed artists and composers such as Sia, David Foster and Eddie Perfect.

Drew McOnie (In The Heights, Hairspray) directs and choreographs the production, which is based on the original version created by the creative duo of Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin. Terry Johnson joins the creative team to adapt the original book.
