Stephanie Boyd Physiotherapist & Massage Therapist

Stephanie has been working in the therapies industry for 9 years. She now works in private practice and specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Stephanie's particular interest is working holistically with clients and drawing on her knowledge of different medical systems and bodywork techniques to really help people address not just the symptoms they are experiencing but also the underlying causes.

A course of physiotherapy with Stephanie is very hands-on and you can expect to engage in a package of treatment combining manual therapy for the affected joints and soft tissues with things such as targeted exercises, self release techniques, education to aid recovery, advice about orthotics/ ergonomic equipment, postural education and re-alignment work.

She may also incorporate Chinese medicine diagnostics into the assessment and use complementary therapies such as acupuncture/ acupressure, Thai massage or reiki in the treatment if these are needed.

In addition to her physiotherapy work, she has developed specialist massage treatments for cyclists, runners and office workers. As with all her treatments they are bespoke and combine the most effective bodywork techniques to produce the best results for you.
