More about Southam Street

Southam Street, the contemporary three-storey drinking and dining destination located on bustling Golborne Road, is the go-to for discerning Londoners in search of an epicurean journey, interior aficionados wanting a hip design fix and locals wanting a hangout to settle in from day to night.

Brought to you by the duo behind the critically acclaimed 108 Garage, Luca Longobardi and Chris Denney, this second endeavour continues to champion the celebrated style of Denney’s distinguished gastronomic approach. Southam Street’s ground floor Robata Grill and second floor Raw bar, mixes western and eastern influences to bring a familiar yet invigorating taste sensation across all dishes.

Designed to share, food is at the very heart of Southam Street with lunch and dinner menus of sushi, sashimi and ceviche in Raw alongside the contrasting menu in Grill delivering regional Robata techniques paired with fresh side dishes. Saturday and Sunday play host to a unique approach to a normal brunch offering where once again eastern influence brings comfort with an added flair.

Complementing the food brings a strong focus to design that errs on the playful and mischievous as well as the luxurious and decadent. The haunt celebrates the bohemian eccentricity with heightened glamour from the local neighbourhood, visually represented by a patchwork of risqué and eclectic wallpapers, exquisite marble counters and sleek yet comfortable furniture.

Low lighting, white marble, gold and a rich green are a recurrent theme in the dining spaces whilst bronze, millennial pink and rich autumnal tones mostly inhabit the bars and drinking dens.
The hangout area can be found on the top floor where the labyrinth of rooms by day act as the perfect shared work space and at night the ideal late-night lounge with a dedicated focus to tequila and mezcal.
The intimate seating area champions an unrivalled cocktail list, programming schedule and the house piano, which allows quick cocktails, meetings or drawn out late night shenanigans. Those that are in the know can get a guaranteed spot at the proverbial table with the chance to purchase their own ‘drinks cabinet’ where they can keep their tipple of choice.

Only closed on Mondays, the Victorian townhouse welcomes likeminded diners, drinkers and locals to enjoy and revel in the need-to-know secret that is Southam Street.
