Shoreline Trotters

Shoreline Trotters is a family run business which offers donkey rides on Porth Erias beach in North Wales when the weather is good.
Sarah Nethercoat, the owner of the business, is a graduate of Bangor University and holds a degree in Zoology and a National Diploma in Equine Management and Science from Bishop Burton College. She has more than 15 years experience of keeping, breeding and training horses and ponies and 8 years experience as a riding instructor including working with people with disabilities.
Sarah is passionate about her donkeys and is aware that any business which involves the use of working animals is subject to the UK animal welfare laws. Working donkeys are also subject to a strict code of practice issued by the Donkey sanctuary. All members if staff are fully trained and experienced in handling equines and comply with the requirements of the Donkey Sanctuary Code of Practice for Working Donkeys.
It is hoped that the business will expand to include larger animals to cater for older clients and specialised riding equipment to enable children with disabilities to take part.
