Sherwood Pines Trail Races

The 2014 Sherwood Pines 10k and 5k Trail races (and family fun run) will take place on Sunday 10 August 2014. This event, which is now in its 8th year, is being organised this year in association with Retford Athletic Club.

Held under UK Athletics Rules, the popular Sherwood Pines trail races attract approximately 500 entrants each year and is a key fixture for seasoned runners from many running clubs across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, as well as for other regular runners, and those new to running, many of whom take part in the run on behalf of local charities.

The 10K & 5K runs start at 11.30am. The Family Fun run starts at approximately 1pm, with under 10’s taking part in the first race (1km) followed by over 10’s taking part in the final race (2km).
