Regent Square at Lumen United Reformed Church

Lumen United Reformed Church is a place of light and warmth. A meeting place where people from many different walks of life and a variety of backgrounds, temperaments and countries come together in a spirit of acceptance and friendship to worship God.

We are a community of individuals, couples, families - and through close relationships with our Taiwanese Fellowship and others - are becoming a “community of communities”, open to the world.

We try to relate the insights of Christian faith to contemporary life and concerns through our worship, which although traditional in form strives to be stimulating and thoughtful.

We seek to serve God and try to frame our reflections always through the prism of the writings assembled in the Bible, from which we try to think old thoughts in new and creative ways.

Our seeking after greater understanding is deepened and broadened by the insight and friendship of those who visit us, as well as those who journey with us for a season. We long to be a kaleidoscope community reflecting God’s passionate love for all creation through the colours of our difference.
