The name Rani means Queen. The Restaurant itself was named after the street it is on - Queen Street in Newcastle upon Tyne Quayside. We also wanted Rani to be like the queen of the Quayside, rising above every other restaurant, giving quality food, being like a real Queen.

Here at Rani’s Indian Restaurant, everyone work hard to provide you with a comfortable and friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy our exquisite food. Our head chef has an experience of nearly 20 years and as I’m sure you’ll come to see, he has great cooking skills. We also understand that personal taste is something you can’t change however, here at Rani we have quality food that anyone enjoys. We offer food for both palates, vegetarian and non-vegetarian moreover our menu consists of dishes from Bangladesh and India.
