Playful little places

Local curtain maker Becky Powell has launched her own range of fabulous children’s tepees. “Playful Little Places” allow children to explore, imagine and dream in their own space. The tepees are handmade using 100% cotton fabrics in a variety of designs. Each comes with a personalised flag.

Becky, owner of Inspired Curtains in Teignmouth has been creating handmade curtains and blinds for over 15 years and has now turned her hand to children’s products.

Becky says: “My 4 year old daughter sometimes likes her own space to play in her imaginative little world. She enjoys time away from adults and away from her younger brother! I developed my first tepee for her and had such lovely feedback from friends, I decided to make them commercially. I hope other children will enjoy their tepees as much as Evelyn has.
