Pedal Bites

Pedal Bites was born in 2014, When creator Riley lived on the Cote D’Azur just outside Nice, was riding several hundred kilometres a week and needing to fuel his rides. Having spent most of his savings on a new bike, travelling with his partner and now fiancé Jenn. Not being able to stomach the mass produced commercially available energy bars and gels that reacked havoc on his body, he resorted to making his own ride fuel to get by: starting with apple and cinnamon rice bars, before moving onto fruit based energy bars and balls.
Recipes were written, ripped up, re-written and slowly put into a more concrete form!

The concept and idea was simple: create healthy, handmade cycling nutrition products that tasted great, fuelled the body and were made with real food! May 2015 this concept become a reality and PB launched! The brand has an ethos and message that we want people to eat real food to fuel there rides. Were not professional athletes, were just everyday people with jobs, families and commitments – our bodies can’t handle the chemicals and other products used to create energy gels and bars – which is where PB comes in! Our products are created, developed and designed for both serious athletes and those who enjoy a weekend in the lanes.

Our range is all about small batch handmade premium quality products, were a small team of two – with big ambitions and goals for PB. We set out to make the best possible product using the best ingredients available to us, putting them together and delivering energy products that are packed full of flavour, texture and keep you energised!
