One Skilled Workforce Leicester

The role of the One Skilled Workforce project is to streamline the services provided to employers and jobseekers by co-ordinating a wide range of publicly funded agencies and providers.

To enable us to do this effectively, One Skilled Workforce offers two services: Routeway Co-ordination and Employer Engagement.

The One Skilled Workforce Routeway Co-ordination Team is tasked with ensuring that eligible clients have access to pre-employment sector specific routeway courses which help to develop the skills and knowledge that employers within the different sectors are looking for. The courses are designed with input from local employers and contribute positively towards the future employment prospects of clients who successfully complete the course. The One Skilled Workforce Employer Engagement Team is tasked with ensuring that the publicly-funded provision of pre-employment guidance and training for jobseekers is closely aligned to the needs of employers & the local economy.
