Why "Old Dave's?"
We're named after Fletcher "Old Dave" Davis, one of the probable inventors of the hamburger back in the 1880's.

Why is your menu different?
At Old Dave's we aim to bring justice to Fletcher's simple creation, reinventing our menu regularly as the seasons and even days change. There should always be something on our menu which you haven't tried before but still the regular favourites.

Why don't you have table service?
Through our system we are aiming to give you more control over your dinning experience. By ordering when you are ready and pre-paying you are not left waiting on us to get around to your table. We will still bring stuff to you and check your ok but you wont be sat waiting to get away. The freedom is yours, if you are after a quick bite or want to enjoy an overdue chat over a tea and dessert you are more than welcome here.
