North Glassock Kennels and Cattery

North Glassock Boarding Kennels and Cattery are owned and run by retired veterinary surgeon, George Leslie and his wife Nancy. A team of full and part-time staff provide comprehensive care for your pets 365 days a year. George and Nancy try to ensure that there is one member of staff for every 10 occupied kennel spaces to ensure good contact between pets and responsible staff.

There are 30 dog kennel spaces with a range of sizes to accommodate every dog. Within this space your dog has its bed. We supply “Dry Bed” or “Vet Bed” but encourage owners to bring a blanket and toys from home - we find this can help the dog settle better and feel more at home with us. The kennels are in four separate units, each with electric heating.

Adjacent to the kennel buildings are 15 runs about 5m by 7m in size, which the dogs are given access to throughout the day, and we also have about 5 acres of fields and woodland for dog walking once we are sure that the dogs will walk safely on the lead and are easy to control.

Dogs from the same home may be kenneled together or separately depending on your preferences. Dogs will never be kenneled with, or put in the runs with, a dog from another home.

There are 10 cat kennel spaces. Each cat has a pen about 2m square within which there is a cat house with bedding and a heater. We have additional isolation kennels for both cats and dogs.
We encourage all potential new boarders to come and visit the kennels, as it is important that you feel comfortable leaving your pets with us. A viewing can be arranged by calling 01560 600 246, and will generally be arranged for between 11am and 3pm.
