Newquay Food Assembly

The Food Assembly is a new concept connecting local food producers to the local community directly, providing a real alternative to the supermarkets providing local quality food.

It brings together the modern side of retail; the online ordering side, plus the benefit of face to face retail. You make your order via the website from various producers each week then come to the Assembly to collect your food and meet the people who have produced it.

Join us and help build a local food movement in Newquay. Every penny you spend at the Newquay Food Assembly creates or supports local jobs and helps the local economy to become much more sustainable and resilient.

Newquay Food Assembly will not only support the local economy and jobs, but also ensure that money spent on food is recycled within the Newquay and Cornwall. Food miles are very low, the food is very fresh, most of it organic and you will be able to meet the people who grow and produce you food.

HOW DO I SHOP?
Each week browse the Newquay Food Assembly's website to see what your local farmers and food makers are offering and order the products you want. The payment is secure and made by credit or debit card on the website.

HOW DO I COLLECT MY ORDER?
The delivery is made on a weekly basis to your assembly, which is Ocean Lodge Newquay in the centre of Newquay. There is parking on-site and lots more nearby. The collection day is Thursday between 5pm & 7pm.

WHAT ABOUT COMMITMENT?
There is none. Its up to you how much you shop at the Assembly.
