The River Annan is rightly famed for it's big salmon , and many fish of over 20lb are caught every year. In 2012 the total catch exceeded that of our next door neighbour the River Nith. For Sea Trout too, it claims a place in the top Scottish venues, having been rated in the past at number four by the Scottish Office, and we are of course the most accessible from the South.
