Modern Body Art is a world-class tattoo studio in Birmingham city centre, owned and run by Matt Hunt and Jo Harrison since 1999. We specialise in custom tattoos of the highest quality. Like any studio of integrity, we won’t just copy someone else’s tattoo; instead you can bring your ideas to us and have a unique individual design drawn up.
Our tattoo artists are forward-thinking and dedicated; they feature regularly in UK and international tattoo magazines and work at the best tattoo conventions. Being passionate and driven about tattooing means they constantly create the best tattoos possible, to the benefit of both customer and artist.
We regularly have some of the world’s very best tattooists guesting with us. Previous visitors include Jeff Gogue, Xoil, Derek Noble, Tim Kern, Jason Butcher and many others.
We are an appointment based shop but can often fit in walk-ins. We find that most of our customers prefer to book in so as not to be disappointed.
