MJ Sports Therapy at Heroes Gym

Mark Johnson Bsc. (Hons), HND, SMA, FHT will be available for Sports Injury Rehabilitation and Sports Massage appointments at Heroes Gym on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-10pm and Saturdays from 11am – 5pm.

Mark has a wide range of qualifications and experience and will be available to help clients prepare and recover from training and to treat any injuries. Mark will also provide clients with advice and guidance on how to avoid and manage injuries.

Mark is a College Sports Studies Lecturer and has previously been the club Sports Injury Therapist for both Spalding United and Spalding Rugby Club (from 2003-2014) providing pre and post match massage, pitch side first aid and planned rehabilitation programmes and instruction for injured players.

Qualifications

• BSc. (Hons) Degree in Sports Studies from Staffordshire University
• HND Sports Science with Sports Injuries from Nottingham Trent University
• Football Association Basic and Intermediate Certificate in the Treatment and Management of Injuries
• Active IQ Level 4 Sports Massage Therapy Diploma
• VTCT Level 3 Sports Massage Diploma

Mark is also a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the Sports Massage Association.
