Mincarlo House

A beautiful, grade II listed, traditional Cornish Cottage in the heart of Newquay old town, just a few minutes walk from Newquay Harbour and Fistral and Towan beaches and only short drive away from the other famous Newquay beaches.

Thought to have been the first shop in Newquay, (a candle shop), Mincarlo House retains all of its original features and characteristic charm, with 3 bedrooms (two doubles and a bunk room), 2 bathrooms, lounge & dining room and a small garden with BBQ area.

Mincarlo House is one mile from Newquay station and seven miles from Newquay airport so easy access however you chose to travel.

We have tried to ensure it is a home away from home for anyone visiting. It is well-equipped to cater for modern day needs with central heating, Wifi, flat screened TV's, DVD/BluRay & log burner.

Ideally located for access to all that Newquay has to offer, with many great restaurants and bars including The Stable and Rick Stein's on Fistral beach, The Fort Inn on Fore Street or The Lewinnick in Pentire, which all have the most amazing panoramic sea views.

Plenty of places to hire and buy surf kit within minutes of the house, easy access to many coastal walks, boat trips and rainy day actvitivies if needed.

You could happily park the car and not need it again until you leave, but for those who want to explore a bit further afield, the famous Watergate Bay and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant are only a couple of miles away, Padstow is 16 miles away and St.Ives 31 miles away. Newquay really is a perfect base for a great Cornish holiday.
