The Director Dean Fordham started as a Apprentice plumber in 1983, In 1986 Dean gained full qualifications with Distinctions in all aspects of the City in Guilds courses, he then gained experience in every part of the industry and all over the UK. Some projects involved heat recovery systems for swimming pools. In the late 1980,s he was pumping water from a Loch Awe in the Scottish Highlands up a mountain and then down to a distribution treatment plant which then piped to a hotel and village. Dean has designed large boiler houses or plant room, organising the installation of them as well. He has project managed all kinds of installations of bathrooms and plumbing systems, all his career and typically co-ordinated ten and more plumbers. Dean often ran as many as six bathroom projects simultaneously. The liaison between customers and workers is a tricky task but one that Dean handles extremely calmly, sorting out any concerns rapidly and efficiently.
Dean prides his installation service on his high standards, attention to detail and cleanliness, so this is the main policy adopted for Merlin Bathrooms.
