Lee Thompson Osteopath

I graduated as an Osteopath from the European School of Osteopathy in July 2017. This involved a 4 year integrated masters degree, including 2 years spent treating in a teaching clinic under supervision from other qualified and experienced osteopaths.
My decision to become an osteopath stemmed from my love for sport. I grew up regularly participating and competing in several different sports and knew that this environment was for me. I've always enjoyed helping people and my time assisting as a swimming teacher/coach allowed me to develop a passion for seeing people improve.
From this I went to study Sport and Exercise Science at Moulton College where I decided that I wanted to be involved in manual therapy. Physiotherapy was a popular degree for people to apply for and I wanted to be different. After researching about osteopathy I found that the principle of getting the whole body to function as effectively as possible to aid recovery was something that stood out as something that could benefit not only elite athletes, but anybody with aches or pains.

Aside from osteopathy, I also play hockey for Wootton Wanderers Hockey Club, learn and perform magic with Northamptonshire Magicians Club, and enjoy learning to play the ukulele!
