Kimpton Bluebells Childminding Services

We are an OFSTED registered childminding duo based in Kimpton Village near Harpenden in Hertfordshire. We have over 19 years of childcare experience between us. We look forward to extending this whilst providing children with a happy, fun and safe place to build new memories
Jenny has been a primary school teacher for over 12 years, 8 of which were spent as an Early Years Teacher and Jo has over 7 years’ experience in Early Years and as a Nanny. We both hold Qualified Teacher Status and have completed the ‘CACHE level 3 award in preparing to work in homebased childcare’ course. We both hold valid First Aid Qualifications for Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene Qualifications and have completed Local Authority Safeguarding Children Courses.
Jenny and Jo met many years ago when Jenny employed Jo as her eldest daughters Nanny. Two children later (a second for Jenny and a first for Jo) and we are going into business together in order to provide a welcoming home environment, were we encourage and support every child to thrive.
We believe we can offer a safe and fun experience for your child, in which every day is fun and happy. Not only inside the home but outside as well in our large garden space with room for growing plants, as well as exploring Kimpton’s beautiful countryside and woods with the children.
