Hi and welcome to the Kent Pole Fitness, the official Pole Fitness Society for the University of Kent. We accept not only student members, but community members as well!
If you've never attended a pole fitness class, it's a long way from the stereotypes associated with pole dancing. A good analogy is that pole fitness is more like vertical gymnastics. It requires a lot of strength and flexibility to be able to pull off some of the moves our polers do.
Other benefits aside from increased strength and flexibility is toning muscle, burning calories and an increased level of overall fitness.
As well as fitness, KPF also wants you to enjoy yourself as a member of our society. Being a member of the society is a great way to meet new people, make friends and have fun.
