More about Isokinetic

Our new centre in Harley Street, London, the most famous medical street in the world, is our international flagship and it reflects 27 years of international heritage and experience in the management of sports injuries.

Where we are:

A short walk from Oxford Circus our centre is easily accessible by all forms of public transport, while there is space for vehicle access for those who need to be dropped-off at the door.

What you will find:

The management of patient care and the entire recovery process is in our corporate DNA, supported by a rehabilitation centre that you would normally expect to find in an elite sports, or military environment. The centre has a rehabilitation gym at its core and the recovery process is supported by exclusive pool access and on-field rehabilitation facilities (indoor and outdoor). There are also two fully equipped Sports Medicine consulting suites, an executive lounge and changing/shower facilities.

What to expect:

Your first appointment will be a 40 minute consultation with one of our Sports Physicians which will cover your medical history, key lifestyle information, your expectations of recovery and personal goals. Assimilating all of this information, and then if appropriate, the doctor will then become your individual Case Manager, and will begin to prepare a customised rehabilitation plan around your unique situation with exercise at its heart. Given that exercise is the key to our model of care, you should expect to start rehabilitation sessions in the gym or pool almost immediately. Sessions typically last 90-120 minutes, although many patients prefer to stay longer.

What to bring:

During your initial consultation, your Sports Physician will want to discuss any relevant medical history, as such bringing along any recent X-ray or other scan results. Patients can move straight from their initial consultation into the gym for an initial rehabilitation session and functional evaluation, so bringing appropriate gym kit is also a good idea.
