Introduction

My name is Kerry Sword and I have been working in the beauty industry for over 15 years now. I achieved a BTEC National Diploma in Beauty Therapy at Newcastle College in the year 2000.
Since then I have been on a bit of a world beauty tour, gaining knowledge and experience in different techniques, traditions and cultures in three different continents. This has enabled me to create the most interesting and varied treatments.
The world tour started in two of the UK’s top destination spas, Ragdale Hall and Stobo Castle, giving me the experience that was necessary to secure a position as a senior therapist within a ski resort spa in Colorado, America.
From America it was off to Singapore as a waxing therapist for a group of waxing salons and urban spas.
Next up on the world beauty tour was Island life as I joined the Willow Stream spa at the Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda.
From Bermuda I went back to Singapore, returning to the company I had previously worked for, to become their training manager. In 2009 I was transferred to London to train the UK staff and get their flagship store in Mayfair up and running.
Working overseas has given me an abundance of knowledge and experience. So, I have brought it all together, combining all the ‘best bits’ from everywhere I have worked.

The Honeypot was born in September 2010, offering a wide range of beauty services that can be tailored to suit all of your individual needs.

Cancellation Policy:
Kindly allow 24 hours notice to cancel any appointments.

Arrival:
For your first visit to Honeypot we ask that you arrive 5/10 minutes before your appointment time to enable you to relax, discuss your treatment needs and complete a consultation form.
Please appreciate that late arrivals may shorten your treatment time as we operate on an appointment based schedule.

Lycon Hair Removal:

Established in Australia in 1978, Lycon waxes enjoy a well deserved reputation as the crème de la crème of hair removal waxes in the world and is the wax of choice by the top spas and salons in over 35 countries.

Down Under
We only use hard wax in all intimate areas, this reduces redness and the ouch factor!
Each client will be given their own personal hygiene pack! Inside you will find; Gloves - for us not you! A hygiene wipe - NOT to use on your hands (think about the area being waxed!) Mini spatulas - so we can use a fresh one each time (no double dipping) and a cotton pad - to drench with our pre - wax lotions and potions to soothe and cool.
