Micro-pigmentation (also known as permanent cosmetics, permanent make-up, semi-permanent makeup, cosmetic tattooing and intradermal cosmetics) is an advanced form of tattooing, which involves the process of depositing micro amounts of pigment in to the dermal layer of the skin.

Micro-pigmentation falls under two categories: Medical and Cosmetic.

Medical micro-pigmentation can improve the appearance of areas of hair growth, cleft lip, areola and nipple restoration. It also aims to restore de-pigmented areas of the skin (also known as chromatic reconstruction) to camouflage scars and skin conditions such as vitiligo.

Cosmetic micro-pigmentation is most commonly known as a permanent alternative to makeup, to enhance facial features such as eyebrows, eyes and lips.

Eyebrows are a very important asset as they structure the whole face and enhance the beauty of the other facial features. I produce only hair stroke eyebrows as I feel they look most natural. The brows are measured to perfection before the procedure takes place to ensure the shape is perfect for you. There are a variety of different coloured pigments including cool and warm tones from light to dark,, so there is a shade to suit everyone - even blondes!

(Please note - it is best to grow in your eyebrow hair as much as you can leading up to a procedure, as the natural hair creates texture. Any strays will be plucked out before and after the procedure to ensure they are perfect when you leave).

The Subtle Lash Enhancement procedure works well for somebody who would like their eyes defined, without having a harsh looking line. The pigment is placed in tiny little dots along the lash line to create the illusion of more eyelashes, therefore opening the eye up and enabling the natural colour of the eye to stand out.

The Fine Eyeliner procedure is perfect for those who like to wear eyeliner but like it thin enough so it looks natural without wearing any other make-up. The pigment is placed along the lash line. This procedure, just like the lash enhancement, bring out the natural colour of the eyes and helps to open them up and define them.

Thick eyeliner is slightly thicker than the fine liner to give more of a makeup look. Thick eyeliner is places through and just outside of the lash line whereas fine liner is placed through the lashes only.

All eyeliners are available in various colours and can be mixed and matched to suit you.

Lip Contour £300

The lip contour procedure is where pigment is placed to create a lip line, like you would with a cosmetic lip liner.

Lip Blush £350

Lip Blush is the most popular lip procedure. It is the similar to the lip contour as we begin placing pigment to create a lip, then we subtly blend it half way in to the lip so you can still see some of your own natural lip colour in the centre - creating a sort of ombré effect.

Full Lip Tint £400

A Full Lip Tint is exactly the same as a lip blush, however it colours the full lip rather then blended just half way.

Lip procedures are not only perfect for people who wear lip liner/lipstick/coloured lip gloss regularly, but also great for people who have lost their natural lip line (which can happen with hormones, age, etc); it restores the natural line giving a fuller looking lip. With all lip procedures, the lips are measured to perfection to ensure that the pigment is placed perfectly. There is such a big variety of colour, from neutral shades to vibrant colours.

All of the pigments which are used are non toxic and non-irritating, however a patch test is required at least 24 hours pre-procedure.
