Guy first picked up a set of drumsticks at the age of 8 after being blown away by a Karen Carpenter drum solo on a BBC television show. He went on to study with perhaps Britains finest drum tutor Bob Armstrong. Traditionally left-handed Guy has developed his own distinctive approach to playing the kit, which has landed him a string of high profile gigs. Perhaps the most notable would be him securing the resident chair behind one of the UK’s biggest and most successful; all boy band, Boyzone. Along with his schedual of notable artists, Guy is in demand on the Westend scene and has been the resident drummer on some of the most popular shows in London and Switzerland.
Having just recently finished an 8 month tour with Westend hit musical ''Hairspray'', Guy is now opening his diary and taking bookings for lessons. More information can be found by contacting him directly, through this Facebook page.
Guyis currently endorsed by Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks and plays a Pearl Masters Studio BRX finished in #128 Vintage Sunburst described by himself as
‘the best kit I’ve ever played’.
