Green Wheels

Green Wheels is a student led entrepreneurial project that focuses on growing and sustaining the number of cyclists at UWE, Bristol.

Based on the Frenchay Campus, we are setting up an on-campus cycle shop to support UWE’s cyclists with their every need from cycle servicing and repair to getting a new set of lights or a helmet. We’re also here to encourage four wheel commuters to change down to two, from selling new or second-hand bikes to helping those who need some assistance in learning the ways of the road.

To further support UWE’s cycling community, we run FREE Cycle Maintenance Lessons which any UWE Student or Staff Member can come along too and we’re going to host Bristol Beginner Bike Sessions to support those with less confidence in getting on two wheels, learning the way of the road and showing them their local cycle paths.
