'Glocsen' is Welsh for clog...the building used to be 'The Holland Arms' pub, and at another time it was the town's family run Shoe Shop. It is a Grade II listed building. The property is a first floor flat, with an exterior staircase up to the front door. The flat itself is set over 3 floors. It is in a great location for seeing Caernarfon - it is just across the town square from Caernarfon Castle itself, right in the center of the town. You can even see a glimpse of the Menai Straits from the top floor window! Literally a 2 minute walk to the Castle, 2 minute walk to the sea front & the Menai Straits, and a 5 minute walk to the Welsh Highland Railway. Lots of cafes, restaurants & bars to explore. Buses depart from the next street to Snowdon & all local destinations. The flat is bright, homely & clean. It has 2x double bedrooms, both with double beds. Lots of space to relax in, comfy leather sofas. We welcome families, but the stairs are not well suited to babies, toddlers or pushchairs! We are happy for cyclists to keep their bikes in the flat while they stay. We don't mind triathletes with all their kit!
