G&S Specialist Timber is a family run business supplying selected hardwoods to manufacturers for construction, furniture, joinery, carvers and woodturners establishing a reputation for high quality and service in Cumbria and beyond.
We supply high grade structural timber for restoration and new build projects. Tree selection is critical as is structural grading. We can grade structural temperate and tropical timber.
We have a specialist fully equipped joinery shop manufacturing handmade architectural work including hardwood doors, bi-folding doors, staircases, storm proof windows, sliding sash windows and casement windows, wall panelling, bespoke kitchens and bedrooms and roof trusses.
We have a showroom bursting with tools and machinery dedicated to the woodworker with a range of the highest quality products - a place to which woodworkers would be prepared to travel for good service and expert advice.
New for 2017 - we have recently added Little Greene Paints & Wallpapers to our product range. With a range of over 200 paint colours available, as we are a mixing centre we can mix and supply the required colour whilst you wait.
