GA-SELECT is a practicing style of Graham Allman Associates Ltd whose Managing Director Graham Allman is a Fellow of the British Institute of Innkeeping (F.B.I.I.) and has a career within the licensed trade spanning back to 1966 having worked for Major Breweries such as BASS PLC & WHITBREAD along with several major players within the world of Licensed Trade Agencies.

Graham leads a team of experienced Business Managers based within the firm's corporate offices and Sales Directors who are field based with local knowledge. He is also on the Mentor Register of the BII offering experienced professional advice to new entrants to the trade and support to existing operators being quoted by the BII as “A Senior Professional” within the trade.

Why buy a pub or licensed business?

We believe it to still be a great place to work and operate your own business. Remember it can and should be lots of fun where all your living expenses can be covered including being resident within one of the counties finest historic properties bringing up your family mostly ring fenced from inflation and recession, when did you last see a licensee buy a lamp bulb or toilet roll?

Then the decision, Tied, Part Tied or Free of Tie (FOT). We say to clients that the thing that matters is the bottom line profits. We know of plenty of tied leased operators who make a cool £100,000 plus out of their pubs, that's £2,000 per week having lived out of the business. This places these publicans within the top 1% of earners within the country.
