FoodSmith Nutrition

Foodsmith Nutrition is a Dorset based consultancy, directed by Melanie Smith who is a Registered Nutritionist.

Melanie has a BSc (Hons) Nutrition as well as a BA (Hons) Health Studies. Registered with the Association for Nutrition as well as the Nutrition Society, Melanie’s nutritional advice is not anecdotal or based on what worked for friends, it is backed by scientific evidence.

Melanie works as a Nutritionist with private patients in three locations; the Broadstone Clinic, Wareham Therapy Clinic and the Wimborne Clinic. She has worked with clients with various health conditions such as obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome, diverticulitis, toddler fussy eating, elderly malnutrition as well as general healthy eating.

Melanie delivered group seminars, as well as one-to-one consultations, on behalf of Reboot Dorset at their bootcamp in Bridgwater Dorset. She has also worked with Jurassic Climbing at Vauxwall Climbing Centre in London to deliver one-to-one consultations.

As a busy working mother of two young girls, Melanie juggles her own family’s healthy eating with owning and running her own business.
