Flies for Trout is a new small retailer of quality flies, fishing tackle and fly-tying materials.


Our aim is to supply high quality flies and fly-fishing equipment at honest great-value prices


We have been tying flies for customers over the past few years and the number of repeat customers has grown considerably in that time. We tie our flies on premium quality hooks.


We base our business on many years fishing experience, including fishing at representative level. Although we are based at the popular Straid rainbow trout fishery, we spend a lot of time fishing the big Irish loughs and rivers, so we can offer all-round experience and understanding of what anglers need.


We have concentrated on fly-tying up until now, but if you look through our pages here you will see rods, reels, lines, clothing and other equipment, which we believe represent value for money.
