Filippetto’s followed the vision and creativity of Italian born Nick Filippetto, who came to England 20 years ago. After working in retail for ten years he decided to open his own delicatessen specialising in quality Italian products from suppliers who’s distinction matched his own vision of a ‘real’ deli. Alongside Nick is his trusted cousin Antonio who is a fully trained chef with experience of working in London’s top restaurants.
Our products are not found in supermarkets and we thrive on sourcing the very best from artisan Italian suppliers. The secret to Filippetto’s is staying true to who we are and sticking to what we are good at – Italians understand Italian food!
All customers are greeted with a friendly ‘Buongiorno’ and Nick and Antonio will continue to chatter away to customers in Italian, sometimes drawing perplexed looks! Everyone who comes to Filippetto’s really feel they have landed in Italian heaven for foodies.
