Fairmile Florist

The proprietor and head florist of Fairmile Florist Lorraine Hanshaw has a first class pedigree in floristry, having been trained in London, producing award winning designs for the top hotels, as well as the television programmes Dancing on ice, Eastenders and Who wants to be a Millionaire. Lorraine also produced floral designs for the likes of Robbie Williams and Maddona, to name just a few.

Lorraine went to school in Wimborne, Dorset. After 30 years working in London as a florist she decided the time was right to return home to Dorset to fulfill her dream of owning her own flower shop.

In December 2007 the previous owner of the florist’s decided to retire, to spend more time with family. This gave Lorraine the opportunity to purchase the shop and build upon its already great reputation. Lorraine changed the name to Fairmile Florist and continued developing the shop to reflect her personality, style and talent. The shop continues to go from strength to strength and is and is very successful in the world of floristry.

Fairmile florist has built up a very strong and dedicated team of florists who all maintain the passion for floristry inspired by Lorraine’s skills and enthusiasm.
