English Lounge Manchester

In the heart of the Northern Quarter, the English Lounge is as the name suggests is the most 'English' of venues with leather sofas, bookshelves, prints on the walls and lots of dark wood setting the tone.

It spreads over two floors with the upstairs available for hire Monday to Friday, for functions

Food is served until 9.30pm Monday-Saturday and to 8pm Sundays, a well-priced selection of British dishes with international flavours.


A good selection of wines and cask ales too. The English Lounge is also notably female-friendly.
