Cooke’s Cakes and Bits

Eastbourne Cooke’s Cakes was established on 1st January 2014 by owner Victoria Cooke. Victoria has been an avid baker for many years and friends and family have all suggested many times that she should start selling her cakes.

On 4th November 2011, Victoria made her first Wedding Cake – Her Own – and the cake decorating bug took hold.

As a Mother of one, Victoria wanted to do something with her time that would allow her to work from home and spend time with little Jack, thus, Eastbourne Cooke’s Cakes was formed.

All of the cakes are made from scratch using only the best ingredients and the decorations are made by hand with love, dedication and attention to detail, ensuring only the best for the client.

When making an enquiry, it is best to give Victoria as much information as you can, such as:
What the cake is for? I.E. Birthday, Wedding, Graduation, Christening etc
What type of cake you want? I.E. Tiers, Sheet, Cupcake, Cake Pop etc
How many does the cake need to feed?
Do you want Fondant or Butter cream covering?
Do you want Fruit or Sponge?
What flavour, if sponge?
What is your budget?

You can have pretty much any cake you desire. Victoria can replicate many designs and even tweak them to your specifications. Victoria’s motto is ‘Your Cake. Your Way.’

Below is a price list of cakes to give you an idea of what you can expect to pay:
Cupcakes start from £1.50 each
Cake Pops start from £3.00 each
Mini Cakes start from £5.00 each
Birthday Cakes start from £30.00 each
2 Tiered Celebration Cakes start from £50.00 each
3 Tiered Celebration Cakes start from £85.00 each
Christening Cakes start from £30.00 each
Hen Party/Stag Do Cakes start from £35.00 each
Sponge Wedding Cakes start from £150.00
Fruit Wedding Cakes start from £200.00
Seasonal Cakes start from £30.00 each

Delivery and set up is available on all orders however a charge will apply as follows:
45p per mile (as calculated by Google Maps)
£7.50 per hour taken (up to a maximum of 3 hours for local delivery, within 25 miles)
Alternatively, orders can be picked up from Eastbourne Cooke’s Cakes at a time arranged by both parties.

Terms and Conditions

Orders are to be received as soon as possible but no later than 1 week before order is due.

A 25%, non-refundable deposit is required upon booking to secure your order slot. Full payment is to be received no later than 1 week before order is due. Payment by instalment is available but full payment must still be received 1 week before the order is due.

Tasting can be arranged by appointment but a fee of £5.00 per person will be required. If an order is received this fee will be taken off of the order total.

Design consultations are available but should be completed no less than 3 weeks before the order is due.

Orders are to be cancelled no less than 1 week before the due date. If the order is cancelled 4 weeks or more before the due date then only the non-refundable deposit will be lost. If the order is cancelled before 1 week of the order being due then 50% of the order total will be required. If the order is cancelled with less than 1 week left then the full amount will be charged for the order.

If the full order cost is not received at least 1 week before the due date, the order will not be filled and the deposit will still be forfeit.

Booking an order with Eastbourne Cooke’s Cakes and paying the 25% deposit will be seen as complete agreement of the above terms and conditions and will represent a binding contract.

Payment is accepted by cash, cheque, wireless transfer and paypal.
