Dunstable Town Council is recognised as a ‘Quality Council’ under a nationally recognised scheme that demonstrates that the organisation is managed effectively and that the Council has an elected mandate
In 2010 Dunstable Town Council adopted its corporate plan with its vision of helping to make Dunstable a better Place. Together with this vision Dunstable Town Council has five corporate priorities:
- To represent residents, businesses and community groups of Dunstable on key strategic issues facing the town.
- To continue to preserve and enhance the history and identity of the town.
- To improve further and develop the provision of green and open space in the town.
- To continue to improve services targets to all community sectors in the town.
- To contribute to the regeneration of the town centre and development of neighbourhood centres.
