DSG is the trading name for D Stoker Group Ltd who have been meeting the motoring needs of the Morecambe Bay, Lake District and Furness Peninsular for over 50 years. We are a family owned and managed business, with a passion for high level customer experience & service.

We have operations in both Barrow in Furness & Morecambe across which we represent the franchises for Renault, Vauxhall, Hyundai & Dacia - the latest addition to our stable.

Our Barrow branch, based on Ironworks Road, has been a Vauxhall retailer since 1992. During 2015 we underwent a major redevelopment that has seen an increase in the size of the Vauxhall showroom & the addition of a 2 lane standalone MOT facility, which is equipped to cater for both class IV & VII vehicles.

As well as having full Vauxhall aftersales facilities for cars & vans, our Barrow branch is a manufacturer authorised repairer for Hyundai, Renault & Dacia which means that our factory trained technicians can care for these marques, saving the client the need to return to Morecambe for service or warranty repairs.

Our Morecambe operation is home to Renault, Hyundai & Dacia and offers full sales and aftersales facilities for these brands. Class IV & VII MOT facilities are also available. We are one of Renault’s longest serving dealers having first acquired the franchise in 1960. A redevelopment in 2014 saw a spacious new showroom built for the extensive Hyundai range. A further redevelopment of the original showroom has provided an ultra-modern facility for Renault & Dacia incorporating Renault’s latest ‘Store Concept’, one of only a handful in the UK at this time.

We have a wealth of experience with pre-owned vehicles offering all makes & models, naturally though our largest selection is for the brands we represent. However we actively source vehicles from other quality marques to complement our overall selection. We also offer customers our locator service where we will try to locate any make & model even down to the colour! Just ask our sales teams for more information.

We actively participate in all our manufacturer partners specialist used car offerings, comprising the award winning Vauxhall Network Q, Renault to Go & Hyundai H Promise.

Motability

Motability helps more and more disabled people have the freedom that motoring allows. If you receive High Rate Mobility DLA/PIP or War Pensioners Mobility Supplement you can use part or all of your payment towards a car. As part of the scheme your insurance, servicing & maintenance are all taken care of.
