Curry Special Restaurant was opened in 1985, the first restaurant in north-east London to specialise in North Indian Punjabi cuisine. Today we boast an extensive menu and our chefs continually strive to create new recipes and improve traditional recipes. Our Punjabi specialities whether non-vegetarian or vegetarian are prepared using class 1 ingredients and expert knowledge, for which we continue to receive customer recommendations today.
A major refurbishment was undertaken in 2001. The seating area is now a spacious one which accommodates 125 people. An abstract design runs through the restaurant with beautiful canvas paintings, a glass spiral staircase, plasma screens and a state of the art lighting system.
