The Coach House Coffee Shop is a converted Coach House that originally belonged to the Anchor Inn, a Victorian watering hole on the edge of the Hard, at the waters edge, alongside the harbour in Brightlingsea. It is situated in a great position, close to the Yacht Club, the Sailing Club and with easy access to the foot ferry which operates from Easter to Point Clear & East Mersea.

With 30 covers inside and 40 in the outside courtyard, the Coach House provides a warm & friendly welcome, daily specials, breakfast, brunch & lunch plus art on the walls and upstairs, the newly opened 'Loft', selling gorgeous scarves and handbags.
