A FAMOUS venue is set to reopen after being closed for almost four years.

The Clwyd Gate on the Mold Road, near Llanbedr DC, has a new tenant who is opening a new restaurant. Stephen Jones, from Prestatyn, a former manager at the White House in Rhuallt, re-opened the Clywd Gate in September.

“The Clwyd Gate is such a well know place and there has been huge interest in what we are doing here. We are serving the best produce and high end meals in a charming and warm atmosphere in an iconic setting.

“Our guests can be sure of a warm welcome, excellent service and great locally sourced food that is sure to see them having a great time at the Clwyd Gate.”

At the height of the mountain pass between Mold and Ruthin there are spectacular views to be had of the Vale of Clwyd from this well know building.

The new high-end eatery is sure to guarantee a warm welcome with the famous venue having had a makeover to update the decor and it give it a modern feel.

This new image means that the best of traditional hospitality will still be on offer at the Clwyd Gate.

The Clwyd Gate takes pride in using the best local produce and there are many offers to ensure that diners get the best value for great meals. We have a Lunch, Dinner, Lites Bites menu and even some tasty food for your little ones. Sundays will see traditional Sunday roasts on offer. Live entertainment will be a big part of the Clwyd Gate with live music on Friday and Saturday nights including a special offer for people to have food and enjoy live music in the runup to Christmas.
