The original Eames Lounge Chair and ottoman was released in 1956 after years of development by famous designers Charles and Ray Eames.

These beautiful chairs were originally built for comfort, durability and above all, affordability, bringing timeless design to the masses, considered now to be one of the most important designs of modern furniture.The first design made use of a heavy rubber washer glued to the backrest and screwed to the lumbar support, which allows the backrest to flex slightly and fit your most comfortable seated position. The washers were called shock mounts and have been used since in more recent designs around the world.

Our replicas are all built with the original design and ethos in mind, using the finest leathers and premium moulded plywood but remaining affordable. We have also expanded our range to include some corduroy chairs, inspired by the Eames chair in hit medical drama House.
