Catcote Academy is a secondary, co-educational special school for learners with moderate, severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties. Some of these students may also have autism spectrum disorder or additional sensory and physical impairments, language and communication difficulties. Others may present some challenging behaviours. In addition the school is resourced for a 30 place unit for learners with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. We also operate ‘Catcote Futures’, a provision for learners over the age of 19 with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties. There are currently 35 learners on roll up to the age of 36.
