The caravan is situated on Oakdene Forest Park, on the edge of the New Forest - Hurn Forest is adjacent to the park.
It is a 2 bedroom 6 berth caravan, situated in a cul-de-sac, yet is close to all the park amenities. It has double glazing and gas central heating. The bedrooms comprise of a master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite toilet facility, and a twin bedroom. Duvets and pillows are provided but please bring your own sheets and towels. There is a shower/toilet room.
The kitchen comes complete with a gas cooker, microwave, in-built fridge freezer and in-built ironing board. There is a dining area adjacent to the kitchen.
The lounge has: a corner sofa with pull-out bed (sleeps two); two armchairs; gas fire; LCD television (with Freeview) and DVD player.
Attached to the caravan is a veranda with gated access (ideal for letting young children play).
Gas and electricity are included in the price.
A £50 key deposit / good house keeping deposit is required. This is refundable once we have checked the caravan after your stay.
Passes are required for the pool/gym facilities which you can purchase at the main office if required. Weekly, weekend and daily passes are available for a family or individually. Prices vary according to season and this year, 2015, weekly passes for a family of 2 adults and 4 children cost £40.50 (low season) and £52.90 (high season).
The park facilities include Sauna, Steam room, Spa bath, Indoor swimming pool, Outdoor swimming pool (open May - Sep), A general store (including off-licence, mobile phone top-ups), Amusement arcade, Children's play area, Crazy golf, Table tennis table, Two licensed bars, Pool tables, Dart Board, Restaurant, Entertainment areas (stage, dance floor), Internet access and wi-fi. Some facilities do have additional charges.
There are also a range of Go Active facilities including a Climbing Wall, Kayaks, Sea Scooters, Snorkelling, Fencing, Water Walkerz, Body Zorbs, Water Peddlerz, Raft Building, Target Paintball, Crossbow, Archery, Aeroball - all available on site to book for additional charges.
Being close to a forest it has good walking and cycling areas nearby. The south coasts beaches and Jurassic coastline are an easy distance away (Bournemouth and Poole about 10 miles). Larger towns/cities are all within easy reach (Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester, Salisbury, Yeovil, Dorchester, Weymouth).
