The Cambrian Village Trust was established in 2000 with the aim of promoting sporting opportunities for young people in the Mid-Rhondda area, irrespective of age or ability.
Since forming the Trust has achieved a number of notable successes including:
• Development of a FIFA one Star all weather pitch and futsal arena
• Provision of Schools Soccer Coaching initiative for Primary, Secondary and Disability School pupils.
• Providing extra-curricular activities for all through the E3+ and 5x60 programme.
• Securing and development of the Lakeside Building’s for educational and social purposes.
• A Sixth form football Academy at Treorchy Comprehensive School
• Development of a UEFA Football Academy.
• Development of the Glamorgan Valleys SFA Girls County Football Academy
